Psalm 119:76

"May Your unfailing love be my comfort."
Psalm 119:76

I thought I would write a post about the process I went through to get here. I want to explain it in such a way that my Father gets all of the glory, after all He is the reason this is all happening! I am so excited about what's to come! Let's begin.

Last April I went on a retreat where God spoke to me in ways I hadn't experienced before. I was truly changed that weekend and my life has been totally flipped. I know what it is to live for Jesus and am so glad I had that experience. To get more information on the retreat I went on visit Something Abundant Ministries website at www.somethingabundantministries.org I promise you won't regret it!

So since that weekend I have been praying daily for God to show me my path. I've felt like I am missing something, like I was supposed to be doing something more. On Thursday June 6 He reminded me of my heart to serve. I have always loved helping others, cooking meals for families, giving gifts and making things for people. Just seeing the joy that my small offering gives these people is enough for me. It makes it all worth it.

I emailed some dear friends for prayer requests and included this in it...well that same day I knew that I was supposed to be doing this. Making blankets for sick children but specifically for children with cancer.

It's only been 6 days since I said yes to Him and I have friends who have been inspired by this wonderful cause. They want to help me spread the word of our Father through these blankets and bring joy to families who are going through such a hard time.

I know that God will provide all that we need and I am so excited that He has opened my eyes and heart to this cause.

Thank you for stopping by and have a blessed day!
